What we seek is simple. By creating rich media and empowering our friends and neighbors to engage public officials and one another, we can build strong community alliances while offering greater transparency and fostering a more participatory public sector. The continuation of their society relies on the perpetuation of ancient myths; God, Nationalism, and the piety of the bewildered herd (that's us). What we attest is that there is no challenge too great that we cannot collectively discuss, solve, manage, and ultimately profit from as a society.

Let the illusion of objectivity fall by the wayside. As truth seekers we cannot rely on them to give us "both sides of the story" when in reality, there are endless facets to any one series of events. We can no longer afford to be defined by empty titles like "democrat", "green", or "libertarian". Labels, like race or status, are just one more way to divide the people. If we have one lesson to learn from the Straussians let it be that ideology and absolute truth are a poison to reality.

Indeed, friends, this is the most exciting time in history to be alive. Our decisions in the next 50 years may well determine our very survival. It is this fact that forces us to dream big.

Pretty heavy for a local video blog, huh?
